The role: Plan, develop, implement, deliver, and evaluate recruitment and education activities for Population Screening and Cancer Prevention, including responding to public enquiries on screening programs and related cancer issues. Prepare submissions, discussion papers and report on the recruitment and education functions of Population Screening and Cancer Prevention. Conduct face to face recruitment and education activities for community and professional groups. Develop and maintain knowledge and expertise in health promotion, education, and cancer prevention. Represent Population Screening and Cancer Prevention on committees or working groups as required. Details of Appointment 1* Permanent, part time, day worker position working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. 1* Fixed term, part time, day worker position working 60.8 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 31 January 2025 *notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Location: Hobart, Tasmania Salary: $79,529 to $91,517 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
