Fenner Conveyors, a Michelin Group Company, are looking for Scraper Technicians to be responsible for the maintenance, service, repair and assembly of conveyor components and systems.
Due to our continued growth and success, we are now seeking motivated, self-starters to join our FIFO Australia wide/Perth Branch and grasp at the opportunity to join as a Scraper Technician.
Permanent and casual work available on various rosters including but not limited to 2 weeks on 1 week off, 8 days on 6 days off. Rewarding incentives with good opportunities for career progression. Great team and work environment. FIFO – for the right candidate's flights are covered from most destinations in Australia to Perth (2/1 roster only). FIFO – for the right candidate's flights are covered to and from Bali (out of Perth). Earn up to $79.69 per hour casual. The Role: Performing routine inspections and general mechanical maintenance, repairs and services to conveyor systems and conveyor components, with a particular focus on scrapers and conveyor operations. Perform installations, repairs, adjustments, and change-outs to belt scrapers, skirts and rollers. About you: Experience maintaining conveyor scraper systems and other conveyor components is a must. A strong commitment to health, safety, and quality. Cert 3 in engineering tradesperson (highly desirable but not essential). Proven knowledge of conveyor system mechanical repair & maintenance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team. Hold full Australian work rights. What's on offer?
