About the Opportunity CQID is looking for afull-time Finance Manager based in Central Queensland, QLD . You'll be reporting to the General Manager of Operations , this role focuses on developing a continuous improvement Financial Management Strategy to support CQID's goals and operational standards. This role may require occasional travel within Queensland to meet with partners, oversee finance operations across different sites, and ensure compliance with organisational standards.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparing, monitoring, and reporting on budgets for funding agreements Managing supplier payments and ensuring staff wages are paid on time Overseeing compliance activities related to finance and audit processes Coordinating external audits and preparing annual financial statements Developing and optimising financial policies, procedures, and reports Supporting the finance team's growth and providing expert financial advice Managing employment tax and salary packaging requirements Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and Human Services Quality Standards We encourage individuals from both Indigenous and non-Indigenous backgrounds to apply. About You To qualify, you will needtertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business or Finance , a minimum of five years of accounting experience , and a current C-Class Queensland Driver's Licence . A valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is also essential.
