About the company: The company is a contract service provider for Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Healthcare organisations, and are currently undergoing substantial growth Located in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne Permanent, full-time opportunity ASAP start About the role: We are currently seeking a Scientist who has an expertise in using LC-MS.
They will be responsible for pre-project planning, laboratory-based work, data analysis and reporting, overall project leadership and client communication.
Duties may include but are not limited to: Develop, optimise and validate analytical methods using LC-MS.
Develop detailed project plans for assigned projects.
Identify and resolve resource constraints with the Senior Scientist.
Coordinate and execute all aspects of assigned projects, including method development, SOPs and forms, qualification/validation, technical work, routine data collection, data analysis, data reporting, logistics, timelines, deliverables and resources.
Designs, plans, performs, documents, and interprets scientific experiments.
Manages operational aspects in the laboratory.
Support, and at times lead, maintenance and qualification of technical equipment.
Supports bioanalytical laboratory team members to achieve their best performance.
Sign off and record training as per the QMS.
About you: Tertiary education in Life Sciences, Immunology, Cellular/Molecular Biology, or other related area is required.
Master's degree or PhD is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years industry experience in LC-MS method development and validation Proven experience in troubleshooting issues for LC-MS Training and experience with Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) techniques is highly preferred Experience in an ISO/NATA-accredited regulatory environment is advantageous Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management, planning and organisational skills.
