$79,051 - $116,189 per annum + superannuationJob Responsibilities:Experience in the use of a laboratory information system such as AUSLAB.Ability to work in a diverse scientific role and perform duties with varying degrees of independence depending on experience.Ability to work in a responsible and efficient manner and an ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, patients and with members of staff.You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:Demonstrated knowledge, expertise and skills within a multi-skilled laboratory.Ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team on a 5 of 7 day roster with on-call duties outside of rostered hours, and contribute a range of diagnostic skills relevant to the disciplines.Ability to apply established principles to the provision of results and advice in a client focused manner.Perform duties with a high degree of independence and with infrequent supervision.Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and implement quality and service improvement activities in accordance with NATA/ISO accreditation/certification.Qualifications, Registrations and Other Requirements:Possession of a B App Sc (Medical Laboratory Science) or an equivalent qualification.Queensland Health staff will be required to participate in shift, on-call and/or weekend roster arrangements.
