Key competencies (role specific criteria)You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
Demonstrates a competent level of knowledge, expertise and skill in Haematology and Transfusion.Demonstrated ability to participate in a single-discipline or multidisciplinary team on a 7 day roster, on-call roster and contribute a range of diagnostic skills relevant to the discipline.Demonstrated ability to apply established principles to a Haematology and Transfusion service with provision of results and clinical advice in a client focused manner.While not mandatory, a well developed technical knowledge and expertise in Transfusion will be highly regarded.Demonstrated ability (or ability to rapidly acquire the skill) to identify, develop and implement quality and service improvement activities in accordance with NATA/ISO accreditation / certification.Well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.About Pathology QueenslandPathology Queensland (PQ) provides diagnostic pathology services to all Hospital and Health Services (HHS) across metro, regional and remote Queensland and plays a critical role in the government's response to public health threats, epidemics, and civil emergencies.
