YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE Full Time Ongoing Role. The Molecular Pathology Laboratory in the Department of Pathology is looking for an experienced Grade 2 Analyst to join our team to help support the molecular diagnostic services.
The permanent full-time dry lab position presents an exciting opportunity to join our team of curation and reporting scientists within the Solid Tumour Molecular Oncology team to help guide patient care.
Suitable candidates will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and self-driven, and possess a minimum science qualification in genetics and molecular biology or genome analysis.
Previous experience in cancer oncology data analysis, interpreting variant classifications, and reporting in an accredited Diagnostic Molecular Pathology/Genetics is highly desirable.
As this role is with Parkville, the successful candidate for this role will be initially employed by Parkville.
However, this position and the successful candidate's employment (including terms and conditions of employment) may be subject to a transition as part of the Victorian Department of Health's reform agenda in public pathology services.
