JR138129 Job Description: • Permanent, Full Time Position • Excellent benefits including salary packaging• Fitzroy location• Challenging and rewarding work environment About the Role You will provide pathology services with competence in all aspects of Special Haematology (Flow Cytometry, Cryopreservation, Haemoglobin Electrophoresis & Molecular haematology), compliance with relevant current Australian Standards and following Haematology department and hospital policies.
Duties include: Provide administrative support for management of the Special Haematology Laboratory, including Inventory control and budgetary compliance Workload participation and workflow management Perform training and assess competency Maintain, evaluate and implement procedures and instrumentation Be part of the Management Team of the Haematology Laboratory
Classifications for this position will range from RY9 - RZ3
($106,688 - $121,477 per annum).
Your Contribution Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent 5 Years' experience in one or more aspects of Special Haematology Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills Proven history of effective training and development of staff Current national criminal history check, or willing to obtain
