Job Description:• Full time rotating roster position, fixed term until 30/06/2025

About the Role You will work in various sections of the Haematology laboratory and be responsible for the processing of specimens according to established laboratory procedures and issuing of results relevant to these specimens.
· Work as part of a team to achieve high quality work and produce accurate and timely reports.
· Testing and release of results including haematology, coagulation and blood film morphology
Classifications for this position will range from RX1 - RX7 ($62,426 - $89,986 per annum).
Your Contribution · Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent
· Sound knowledge of clinical haematology and its practical applications
· Competence in interpreting blood transfusion, haematological results and blood film examination
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About Haematology St Vincent's Pathology is committed to the provision of a comprehensive, high quality diagnostic and consultative pathology service for St Vincent's campuses, GPs and medical specialists in the Melbourne area.
Pathology services are centralised at SVH Fitzroy in Patient Services Building.
