ChemCentre are seeking a highly motivated Chemist, who can contribute to developing analytical methods and procedures to solve complex chemistry issues in HAZMAT/CBRN or Dangerous Goods contexts. In this role, you will participate in HAZMAT/CBRN incident response activities including mandatory participation on a 24/7 on-call roster which can include intrastate deployment at short notice.
To be successful, you will have the ability to deliver training programs and work effectively within a high functioning team. A degree or higher qualification in Chemistry, or a relevant science with substantial chemistry components, is an essential requirement of this role.
This is a full-time position offered on a Fixed Term Contract for One (1) year, with the possibility for extension or permanency, subject to funding. Suitable applicants may be considered for like positions within 12 months from the date of finalisation of the selection process.
