Your Role
CSL are hiring a Scientist, Analytical Antibodies to join our team in Melbourne.
Our CSL Melbourne Global Head Quarters is a unique mix of A Grade offices, meeting rooms and laboratories over 23 levels located in the Melbourne Bio-Medical Precinct.
You will deliver assays and analytical reagents supporting Seqirus' SARS-CoV-2 and influenza vaccine platforms as well as delivering monoclonal antibodies to key stakeholders within the business.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Associate Director, Bioananalytics you will:
Provide scientific and technical expertise for the Surveillance and Vaccine Development (SVVD)Build and maintain a portfolio of analytics centred around the characterisation of monoclonal antibodies.Optimise and characterise monoclonal antibodies developed as immuno-analytical reagents.Undertake animal studies to support SVVD programsProvide technical guidance for group activitiesDriving staff development including the provision of scientific and technical guidanceEngage with stakeholders at a local level to support departmental compliance. Your Experience Degree and experience in relevant disciplineAt least 3 years' experience in relevant field/industryExperience in cell cultureExperience working with small animal modelsPost-graduate degree preferredExperience in virology and immunoassays preferredExperience and practical expertise in the areas of immunology, molecular biology, separation science, analytical assay development or process development preferred.Experience and practical expertise characterising monoclonal antibodies highly desired.
