Scientific Officer
will be responsible for providing support to the GMP laboratory.
You will work with a team of scientific technical staff to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and procedures are adhered to.
Training will be provided.Reporting to the Analytical Services Manager, the role will focus on:Receipt and log in of samples into a Lims system.Registration of incoming chemicals / reference standards and consumables.Stocking and maintaining all the laboratories with consumables.Assist with daily equipment maintenance and calibration of smaller laboratory equipment.Keeping the sample receipt area, laboratory, storage rooms clean, organised, neat and tidy.Assist in storage and retrieval of stability samples from the stability chambers.Assisting with scanning and data archiving.Qualifications
As an important role within Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing, the following selection criteria are
essential
for success:Minimum of TAFE Qualification in Laboratory Techniques or related discipline.Previous GMP experience in a testing laboratory (Chemistry or Microbiological) will be well regarded.Previous experience with Lims systems, reagent preparation, balance, or pH calibrations, will also be highly regarded.About you:Willing to operate in a flexible manner and be able to switch priorities at short notice.Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills.Demonstrate problem solving in delivering process and analytical understanding.Good understanding of requirements for working in a GMP environment.Ability to quickly learn new processes.Excellent with software programs.Excellent customer service and written and verbal communication skills.Additional Information
