The high performing collaborative team is responsible for the administration of the Tobacco Products Control Act 2006 and regulating the sale and supply of tobacco products across Western Australia. As Scientific Officer you will be responsible for investigating matters and taking appropriate enforcement action, making robust and well-reasoned decisions relating to licence applications, providing recommendations on legislative matters and assisting with other public health regulation functions. A portion of this role is field based, with some regional travel required.
