Science Teacher (Years 7 to 12) - full-time, Ongoing Start date: 1 January 2025 Applications close: 3:00pm Friday 26 July 2024 This position is for a Years 7 to 12 Science Teacher with the ability to teach at an ATAR level preferred but not essential. The ability to teach Chemistry is very desirable.
Selection Criteria:
Special skills are needed and applications are invited from applicants who possess the following attributes:
* Science Teacher with ability to teach Years 11 & 12 is preferred but not essential. The ability to teach Chemistry is very desirable.

* be able to demonstrate highly competent classroom management and learning area skills
* possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be able to integrate digital technology into their teaching practices
* be an enthusiastic and cooperative team person who will work collaboratively with all teachers and the Leadership Team
* understand the importance of feedback to parents and students
* show initiative and participate fully in school activities
* be a creative, flexible and enthusiastic educator
* demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and excellent communication and organisational skills.
* hold relevant Bachelor of Education 4 year qualifications.
The successful applicant must have a current Working With Children Check and provide a valid CrimTrac.
