Teaching - Secondary (Education & Training) Full time At Wenona, we have an obligation to our profession to ensure the highest quality educational outcomes for our students. The Position Teaching general science to students from grades 7 – 10, and Chemistry and/or Physics to our senior students. Committing to Pastoral Care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of students. Engaging in professional learning, including contributing to the broader education community. Collaborating and contributing to a team and faculty of professional educators. Utilising ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement beyond the classroom. This is a permanent full-time position, commencing Term 1, 2025.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have relevant qualifications and experience teaching Science, with a focus on Chemistry and/or Physics for senior students. You will display a strong knowledge of NESA curriculum, HSC assessment practices and the marking processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. This will allow you to effectively educate and build strong relationships with our students, setting them up for success in the future.
