Teaching - Secondary (Education & Training) Full-time Science Teacher – Full time commencing end January 2025 Due to long-serving staff retirements, strong growth, and other staff relocating, Scone Grammar School is seeking to fill the following position in 2025.
The Role This role requires approval and experience to teach Science from Year 7 to Year 10, Biology, Investigating Science, or Physics. The applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to integrate specific teaching strategies from the Stage 4 & 5 Science curriculum to support the learning needs of all students. The applicant must be able to demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively as a team member to achieve faculty goals and school strategic directions, fostering strong working relationships with staff, students, and parents.
The applicant will need to display evidence of effective classroom management to promote a supportive and positive learning environment, and the capacity to integrate innovative curriculum and learning strategies into teaching practice. The applicant should have a proven history as a lifelong learner and possess a genuine desire for self-improvement as well as a passion for student wellbeing.

Qualifications and Experience: Relevant tertiary qualifications in education. Valid teaching accreditation and registration. Proven experience as a classroom teacher. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive team environment. A passion for student learning and development, with a focus on improving educational outcomes.
