Salary offered will be commensurate with the successful applicant's skills, qualifications and experience and will be based on level 1-13 of the Ballarat Clarendon College Enterprise Agreement Teaching Scale ($84,071 - $126,114).General InformationBallarat Clarendon College is a co-educational school for day and boarding students. It is based in Ballarat, a regional city in the heart of Victoria, just over an hour's drive from Melbourne, with a population of around 120,000 people. We can guide successful applicants through this process.Key Selection CriteriaAppropriate tertiary qualificationsStrong curriculum understanding, including the Child Safe StandardsAbility to effectively plan and design lessonsCommitment to and understanding of the use of a range of assessment tools and techniquesSophisticated knowledge of subject curriculum, study designs and criteriaProven ability to provide feedback to studentsSolid understanding of how to analyse data in relation to student progress and teaching effectiveness.Commitment to continuous improvement in and out of the classroomProven ability to manage time and conflicting priorities effectivelyAbility to communicate and interact with all Ballarat Clarendon College community members positively and appropriatelyPrevious experience working within a team environment with a focus on success and outcomesProficient user of information technology.Special RequirementsMust be able to obtain valid Australian Work Rights.
