Hillcrest Christian College invites applications for a vacant Laboratory Technician role, working in support of Science teachers and students.
Responsibilities: Duties of the Laboratory Technician include:
Preparing experiments Setting up before classes Cleaning and storing chemicals, materials, and equipment afterwards Ensuring that all equipment is in a good state of repair To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have: Experience in laboratory duties, preferably in an educational environment Competence and enthusiasm to perform the duties of the role Willingness to work as part of a team and assist teachers and students Availability to work the specified hours during school terms Current knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety requirements Relevant qualifications e.g., Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or Diploma of Laboratory Technology Benefits: Competitive salary Free gym on site 12 weeks off during school holidays (4 paid and 8 unpaid) Friendly and supportive working environment
