Slade Health is a national sterile compounding service provider with TGA accredited manufacturing facilities based in Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales. We produce pharmaceutical products from chemotherapy drugs to sterile antibiotics and patient nutrition products. We receive orders from hospitals, tailored to the specific needs of each patient, and our Production Technicians process and dispatch these orders to hospitals for use by patients all around the country.
About the role: We have a full-time 12-month contract position available for a Production Technician to work at our Mount Waverley site. This role is rostered Monday to Friday, starting 2pm to 10pm (Mon - Thurs) and 1pm to 9pm (Friday), giving you time to pursue other interests. You will receive extensive and ongoing training and will be responsible for:
Picking raw materialsDecontamination of materialsPrinting labels and batch documentsCompounding/mixing product in the cleanroomChecking, packing, and labeling final productEnsuring completion of documentationWhat we are looking for: Experience in a compounding role or within a cleanroom environment is well regarded, as is a recent Science degree. Formal qualifications are not essential, as our focus is on training every Production Technician to work efficiently, accurately, and with an appreciation for the quality of the product. Please note, this is a compounding/production role in a sterile manufacturing environment and does not involve any research, microbiology, or product testing.
