Slade Health is a national sterile compounding service provider with TGA accredited manufacturing facilities based in Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales. We produce pharmaceutical products from chemotherapy drugs through to sterile antibiotic and patient nutrition products. We receive orders from hospitals tailored to the specific needs of each individual patient, then our Production Technicians process and dispatch these orders for use by patients all around the country.
About the role: We have a full-time 12-month contract position available for a Production Technician to work at our Mount Waverley site. This role is rostered Monday to Friday, starting 2pm to 10pm (Mon - Thurs) and 1pm to 9pm (Friday), giving you time to pursue other interests in your life. You will be provided with extensive and ongoing training, and on a daily basis will be responsible for:
Picking raw materialsDecontamination of materialsPrinting labels and batch documentsCompounding/mixing product in the cleanroomChecking, packing, and labeling final productEnsuring completion of documentationWhat we are looking for: Experience in a compounding role or within a cleanroom environment would be well regarded, as would candidates with a recent Science degree. Formal qualifications are not essential, as our focus is for every Production Technician to embrace the significant amount of training provided; then work efficiently, accurately, and with an appreciation for the importance of product quality. Please note, this is a compounding/production role in a sterile manufacturing environment and does not involve any research, microbiology, or product testing.
