A temporary part time position (1 day per week - days to be negotiated) commencing 31 January 2025 until 19 December 2025.
This position supports the school's pastoral care leader/school leadership by undertaking a variety of tasks to enhance student wellbeing and ensure students have the opportunity to be successful at school.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
Ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required.
DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA Demonstrated experience in a similar role.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum qualification is a Certificate IV in an appropriate discipline including competencies in: mental health and making appropriate referrals; and providing pastoral care, and/or working with youth.
INDICATIVE DUTIES Improve the wellbeing, resilience and pro-social behaviours of students by working in partnership with the school community to prioritise and deliver small group evidence-based intervention, programs and strategies.
Enhance student learning and wellbeing outcomes by identifying and establishing support networks for students with staff, the school community, and locally-based.
Complete the professional learning package in responding to and preventing cyberbullying delivered by the Office of the eSafety Commissioner within three months of commencing NSWP services and refresh this professional learning at least once every two and a half years.
Working with Government services and community agencies.
Support students in times of transition.
Support data collection processes to evaluate and feedback on school-based wellbeing programs and strategies.
Support the implementation of the school's whole-school approach to PB4L, pastoral care, student wellbeing priorities, and build positive community relationships.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE This role is classified as a child related work and therefore a working with children clearance is required prior to your commencement with us.
