School Support Officer - Senior Finance Officer (76 hours per fortnight) Catholic Education Office Diocese of Wollongong – Nowra NSW
A permanent full-time position commencing 31 January 2025.
This position supports the financial service requirements for the school. It involves working with a school support team together with the staff in the Catholic Education Office.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church. Demonstrated experience working with an enterprise accounting package. Demonstrated experience in setting budgets and monitoring against targets. Proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required. Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite of applications. DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA
Experience in collection processes. Familiarity with Tech One and Compass systems. Certificate II in Office Procedures or related study. GENERAL CAPABILITIES
Well-developed interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to relate effectively with parents/carers, staff, and students. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Demonstrated positive attitude to innovation and change. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum five years' experience in an accounting environment. Certificate IV in Business/Finance or relevant discipline. WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as child-related work and therefore a working with children clearance is required prior to your commencement with us.
