The Teaching and Learning Directorate is seeking a dynamic leader in the role of School Support Coordinator to join the School Support Team.
This is a full-time ongoing position based in West Leederville commencing as soon as possible.
The Role This role is responsible for providing leadership and building the capacity of consultants and school leaders in Catholic Education Western Australia in the area of Teaching and Learning.
What we can offer you Salary range for this position is K1 to K4 on the CEO salary scale ($143, 218 - $156, 367 per annum) plus superannuation. 5 days additional paid leave when the office is closed (over Christmas and Easter). About you Minimum five years in senior or middle leadership of a school context. Recent school-based experience with evidence of exemplary teaching. Demonstrated commitment to Quality Catholic Education and CEWAs Vision for Learning. Excellent understanding, interpretation, and analysis of academic data and how to apply this to improve teaching and learning. Excellent knowledge and understanding of contemporary pedagogies. Excellent knowledge and understanding of current issues and research in school improvement processes and pedagogical practice. Highly developed facilitation and presentation skills. Highly developed interpersonal skills that can be employed to support school leadership teams on their school improvement journey and to work as part of a wider School Support Team. Highly developed oral and written communication skills. Ability to show initiative and be proactive. Possession of a current TRBWA registration and a valid Working with Children Check is required. Knowledge of current initiatives, curriculum documents, and programs used in Catholic Schools in Western Australia is highly desirable.
