Required Qualifications: Master of Social Work State approval as a school social worker Desired Qualifications: Licensed Master of Social Work Experience with school-age students Job Description: Supportgeneral education students andstudents with all types of disabilities Development of functional behavior assessments and behavior plans Support to parents and teachers of students with above disabilities Evaluation of students suspected of having an emotional impairment Support school based Positive Behavior Intervention & Support system Collect and analyze behavior data Physical Requirements and Work Environment: This position requires long periods of standing, sitting, and walking. The position requires occasional lifting of students, supplies, and movement of classroom furnishings during the course of the school day. Work takes place both indoors and outdoors, with some travel to other schools or field trip locations. Work Year: Per the MDMEA bargaining unit agreement
