School Service Leader: Pastoral Care and Wellbeing Part Time, Ongoing, Up to 0.5 FTE (this role can be from 0.3 FTE to 0.5 FTE) As the School Service Leader: Pastoral Care and Wellbeing you will be responsible for providing specialist on-going instructional support and advice within schools and small regional clusters of schools.
As School Service Leader: Pastoral Care and Wellbeing, you will: Support schools in implementing pedagogical models of support and tiered interventions to address the learning needs of students.
Provide in-school support to develop consistent learning and assessment practices that use knowledge of student data to inform teaching and learning.
Tailor professional learning to assist teachers to improve curriculum, pedagogy and assessment.
Some of the skills and experiences we are looking for are: Education degree with teaching experience.
Demonstrated expertise in the area of specialisation.
Ability to work in a focused and collaborative manner in a school environment to support the improvement of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment.
Registered to teach in Tasmanian Schools or able to gain registration.
