School Service Leader: Extended Learning (Statewide) Catholic Education Tasmania is a community of thirty-eight schools and colleges serving over 17,000 students, their families and over 2,400 employees across Tasmania. Catholic Education Tasmania is now seeking applications for the role of School Services Leader: Extended Learning.
As the School Service Leader: Extended Learning (Statewide), you will be responsible for providing specialist ongoing instructional support and advice within schools and small regional clusters of schools.
As School Service Leader: Extended Learning (Statewide), you will:
Support schools in implementing pedagogical models of support and tiered interventions to address the learning needs of students. Provide in-school support to develop consistent learning and assessment practices that use knowledge of student data to inform teaching and learning. Tailor professional learning to assist teachers in improving curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment. Some of the skills and experiences we are looking for are:
Education degree with teaching experience. Demonstrated expertise in the area of specialisation. Ability to work in a focused and collaborative manner in a school environment to support the improvement of curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment. Registered to teach in Tasmanian Schools or able to gain registration. You will join an organisation that is driven by:
