Qualifications Required: Master's Degree in Education Psychology or School PsychologyMichigan Department of Education approval as a school psychologistQualifications Desired: Knowledge of state and federal mandates that relate to the evaluation and identification of students with disabilitiesAbility to analyze, interpret and report quantitative and qualitative dataExperience with data based decision models for continuous improvement and/or intervention planningExpertise in assessment including curriculum based measurement and diagnostic practicesAbility to be self-directed and self-motivatedExcellent verbal and written communications skills with students, parents, and staff membersExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work as a team memberPossess technology knowledge and skills.Knowledge and Experience with Behavioral Analysis including Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans.Physical Requirements and Work Environment: This position requires long periods of standing, sitting, and walking.The position requires occasional lifting of supplies and movement of classroom furnishings during the course of the school day.Work takes place both indoors and outdoors, with some travel to other schools or field trip locations.Work Year & Salary: Per the MDMEA Agreement
