Job DescriptionAbout the position: The purpose of the School Psychologist is to promote the welfare and wellbeing of students at all levels across the School and provide effective psychological support for students experiencing personal, emotional, behavioural and/or social difficulties. The School Psychologist also provides guidance to other members of the School Community including staff and parents.
This is a permanent, full-time (1.0FTE) position with scope to consider part-time hours commencing at the beginning of the 2025 School year.
As the successful applicant you will have: Relevant degree qualification in counselling, psychology, social work, or a related field.Experience providing counselling services to school-age children and adolescents, preferably in a school or educational setting.Strong interpersonal skills with clear ability to be able to work effectively with a range of people including students, staff, parents and community.South Australian Working with Children Check and Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) Certificate.Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia - Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA).Why work for us: Join a leading Independent College educating over 1500 students from Early Years to Year 12.
