Ciara Timbs | Schools Psychologist specialist | is partnered with a number of schools for recruitment of School Psychologist positions for the 2025 academic year. With a more recent uptake in mental health services from young people within the education system, many schools are expanding their wellbeing teams to increase the availability of counselling, intervention and assessment services.

ResponsibilitiesCounselling & interventions; have relevant experience in counselling around a range of mental health issues, as well as school and behavioural issues.Have experience in conducting psycho-educational assessments.Write reports with effective recommendations and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.Teamwork; as a member of School Staff, provide psychological input to the development, implementation and evaluation of school or system learning programs, goals and outcomes.Providing professional learning to other school employees to build capacity of education professionals and families to improve students' learning and developmental outcomes.Qualifications & SkillsRegistration with AHPRA; full registration preferred, and an educational and developmental endorsement will be highly regarded.Experience working with young people, preferably in a mental health context.Excellent communication skills, and an understanding of ethical responsibilities and confidentiality.Experience conducting assessments.Ability to work as part of a wider school community, including working with other education staff, wellbeing team members, families, and school leadership teams.BenefitsSchool based hours; experience true work-life blend with school based hours and limited after school commitments.Term time only roles | School holidays; 7-13 weeks annual leave per annum, school dependent.Full and part-time opportunities.Remuneration; 90-140k p/a, plus superannuation plus extended leave.If you are an experienced schools psychologist, or a psychologist looking to move into an education setting, please reach out to organise a confidential discussion with Ciara on 0449011987 or ******.
