This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 Hedland Senior High School (SHS), located in the Pilbara, is an Independent Public School catering for students from Years 7 to 12.

Hedland SHS is seeking a dynamic and organised School Officer to join their friendly team.
As the School Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our school and will be responsible for completing administrative duties including greeting all visitors, answering the telephone, and responding to routine inquiries and requests for information.
Suitable applicants should have a friendly, positive and caring attitude and possess the qualities to promote excellence within our school and to interact with parents and the wider community.
The successful applicant will ideally possess attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and work well within a team environment.
They should also model effective and quality customer and administrative support service delivery and have strong interpersonal and communication skills to work in collaboration with the administration team, school support staff, our school community, and teaching staff.
School Officers support student-related activities such as assisting with student enrolment procedures and operating a range of software packages, particularly databases and word processing.
Suitable applicants will provide assistance to other members of the school administration team with maintaining school databases, records, and management information systems to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
Experience with RM Finance, RM Billing, HRMIS, Student Information System (SIS), Compass, and Microsoft products will be highly regarded.
