About the role Columba Catholic College, Charters Towers is seeking an experienced enrolments and administrative professional.
This is a permanent, Term- time position completing 35 hours per week.The role will commence as soon as practicable.
The permanent, term time (45 week) position consists of 35 hours per week during the school term, plus an additional 5 weeks, 1 week prior to Term 1 commencing an additional week at the completion of Term 4 and 1 week during each school holiday period.
The role of School Officer – Enrolments & Administration works in collaboration with the other Administration staff to support the effective coordination of the school office.
As an initial point of contact, it is integral, the School Officer – Enrolments & Administration presents a professional image and creates a welcoming, warm and positive impression whether via phone, email or in person.
The School Officer – Enrolments & Administration will be required to undertake a broad range of administrative tasks to support the school community and will offer diversity within the scope of work being undertaken.
Key Accountabilities Support the delivery of tasks associated with community participation and school functions Provide administrative support that meets the day to day requirements of the school Monitor and update the school website, social media accounts and digital publications Support the delivery of operational tasks associated with reception and administration Provide support in parent/student reception when required Assist with financial and banking duties as requested Administer First Aid where necessary About you Previous experience in an administrative and/or marketing function, with the provision of focused professional, administrative support Knowledge of records management systems Demonstrated capacity to organise and prioritise a range of tasks and set priorities to meet deadlines in a busy environment Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Highly developed computer literacy with the ability to operate a variety of platforms Organisational planning and coordination skills including the ability to manage demanding or competing deadlines Enthusiastic and energetic with a proactive attitude Flexible and responsive to the needs of the school community and driven to achieve the best outcomes Willingness to learn and develop in a supported environment For more information, please refer to the Position Description .
