Our school is highly respected within the community due to our emphasis on developing great relationships between the staff, the community and particularly the students. Our decision-making is always based on whatever is best for our students, and our programs and procedures reflect this.
We believe that education is best achieved by having happy students who are challenged, eager to improve and willing to become involved in the learning process. We believe it is vital that we help the students learn critical thinking and problem-solving skills to maximise their engagement.
There is a great atmosphere in the school and a great working environment exists throughout the whole community. Our families and students appreciate that we offer a calm, quiet working environment where all students are highly respected, engaged and challenged.
We have four learning centres, a new building housing 6 classrooms & new student toilets, the BER building, two double portables and a small original building. Administration is located in a second new building which was finished in 2023.
We have over two hectares of grounds which provide the students with a pleasant and safe environment. The grounds offer a variety of both active and passive play options.
We operate intensive language and numeracy programs that cater for all students, with all needs and interests. We utilise Little Learners Love Literacy, Soundwaves and other programs to ensure our students have access to modern curriculum and pedagogical methods.
Our Specialist programs are: STEM, Italian, Phys. Ed. and The Arts. We run a swimming program, school-based sports programs and many other activities that ensure students have a variety of experiences.
We have extensive Personal Development programs including involvement in programs such as Buddies, Cyber Bullying prevention, Respectful Relationships and other department initiatives.
