They have an exciting new opportunity for a Horticulturist at a prestigious all girls school in the Glen Eira area. Work alongside their dedicated and well-experienced Site Manager! Whether you are a well-seasoned expert or have just finished your qualifications and looking for your next step, this is a perfect role!
Key Responsibilities
Maintain school grounds, e.g., by using a ride-on lawn mower, pruning, weeding, planting, and disposing of litter. Assist with repair/maintenance work as required to school buildings, e.g. replacing locks, doors & light bulbs and patching holes. Move equipment/furniture as required. Assist with school improvements e.g. painting, and gardening projects
About You
Experience and/or qualified in Horticulture A sound understanding of General Maintenance. Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills Ability to pass a police check and work with children check Drivers license Trades women are highly encouraged to apply
What Is On Offer
A full-time role hours – alternate between 7.30-3.30 pm and 8-4.30 pm An attractive salary – $65,000 -$70,000 + Super with access to work vehicle. Working in the education sector is rewarding as you make an impact for future generations. They provide work uniforms and offer to cover the costs of further licenses if needed.
Ladies with a good background/understanding of Horticultor and/or ground maintenance are highly encourages to apply.
