You will play a crucial role in co-ordinating efforts within and between agencies to provide targeted support to enhance learning experience for our diverse student population.

Normanton State School is a remote, rural school that offers learning experiences for students from Prep to Year 10. We are a co-educational school and we cater for students with a range of learning needs and interests.
About the Role As a School Community Partnership Facilitator you will:
Collaborate with community partners and government agencies to deliver locally responsive and integrated strategies;Influence a place-based approach by collaborating with key partners to deliver integrated strategies to school and community challenges;Deliver transformative support that addresses attendance, engagement and learning challenges, ultimately leading to improved educational outcomes for students;Support school leaders through the implementation of curriculum and wellbeing;Organise school and community groups and meetings and engage with families, staff, students and stakeholders;Collate data and develop strategies to improve student outcomes;Be a strong communicator with great time management skills, be able to work as a team member and to use initiative and work independently when needed;Use past experiences in co-design approaches when working with the school and community;Make a difference.Mandatory Requirements for an Identified Role: It is a genuine occupational requirement for Identified roles that the position be filled by an Aboriginal person or a Torres Strait Islander person as set out in Section 7 of the Anti Discrimination Act 1991 for the purposes contained in Section 25 of that Act.
