School Bus Supervisor

About the roleWompos Pty Ltd is seeking a casual School Bus Supervisor to join our team in Atherton, QLD.
This important role is responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school, providing a caring and supportive environment for children throughout their journey.
The successful candidate will:
Provide direct supervision of all students travelling on a school bus to ensure safe operations.
Hours of work are 5 hours per day (6.30am – 9am / 2pm – 4.30pm).
Be flexible
Have strong communication skills and the ability to manage student behaviour during bus trips
Keep and maintain accurate daily records
Hold a current Working with Children Certificate (Blue Card) and Driver License
Hold a current First Aid / CPR Certificate or have the ability to attain
Have full work rights in Australia
Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and Bus Driver.
Adhere to all relevant transport, safety, and child protection regulations

Previous experience working with children is preferred but not essential.
