We extend a warm invitation to children aged 1 to 5, inviting them to embark on a joyful voyage of discovery while nurturing their skills within a cozy, homely atmosphere.The School Administrator and Executive Assistant to the Principal is a key position that supports the Principal in the effective management of the school. This role would align with a dedicated, strategic thinker with a strong background in supporting a Centre Director within an early childhood setting.The role serves as the first point of contact for staff, students, parents, and external consultants, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operation of the Principal's office. This position plays a crucial role in coordinating administrative tasks, managing key school events, and maintaining accurate records, thereby contributing to the overall success and mission of Reddam House schools.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Principal, including handling correspondence, managing the Principal's diary, and answering telephone calls.Act as a liaison between the Principal, teaching staff, and administrative personnel to facilitate effective communication and coordination within the school.Oversee parent accounts, financial reporting, and resource allocation.Oversee the admissions process for the Early Learning School, ensuring efficient enrolment procedures, clear communication with families, and alignment with the school's enrolment goals and standards.Motivate and mentor a team of passionate early childhood professionals, cultivating a positive and high-performing work environment.Manage HR functions, including rostering, training, and team turnover.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and the National Quality Framework (NQF) through regular audits and assessments.Draft and compile correspondence for current and prospective students' parents, and arrange appointments with the Principal when necessary.Maintain and update student records as directed, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Engage with students and assist in providing direction and support as required.Assist the Principal in organising and managing school events such as Assemblies, Open Day, and other key school functions.Provide reception relief as scheduled and when required, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.Arrange replacement staff for the school's support administration team as necessary, ensuring continuity of operations.Organise catering for events hosted by the Principal, ensuring all logistical details are managed effectively.Oversee school systems for parent communication and the scheduling of parent-teacher meetings, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.Coordinate the annual prize-giving ceremonies, ensuring all aspects are meticulously planned and executed.Perform other duties as requested by the Principal to support the school's administrative and operational needs.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:Strong administrative and secretarial skills with a proven ability to manage complex diaries, correspondence, and office systems.Accountability to ensure the centre is compliant with all aspects of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Child Protection and Child Safe Standards, Approved Frameworks.Financial management and administrative experience specific to early childhood education and care.Experience in a school or educational setting, with a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities within a school environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, students, parents, and external parties.High level of organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.Experience in event coordination and management, including the organisation of school functions and ceremonies.Proficient in the use of office software and school management systems.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESStrong interpersonal skills with a warm and approachable demeanour, embodying the values and culture of Reddam House.Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.Discreet and trustworthy, with the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.Adaptable and flexible, able to respond to the dynamic needs of the school environment.A collaborative team player who is willing to support colleagues and contribute to a positive school community.QUALIFICATIONSDiploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher (Bachelor of Education/Teaching (Early Childhood) will be highly regarded)A relevant qualification in administration, secretarial studies, or a related field is preferred.Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a school or educational institution.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with school management software.SAFEGUARDING STATEMENTInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
