As the first point of contact for visitors, staff, students, and parents, you will play a key role in maintaining smooth administrative operations and providing support to the Head of Middle School and other staff members.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and enquiries at the Middle School campus.Manage student attendance records, including absenteeism and late arrivals, ensuring appropriate communication with staff and parents.Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Middle School and other staff, including scheduling, report preparation, and general communication.Assist with the organisation of school trips, events, and co-curricular activities.Maintain and update student records, permission slips, and certificates.Perform general office duties, including managing mail, supplies, and equipment.Act as Deputy Chief Fire Warden and first aid officer, administering medication and general first aid to students as required.Minimum Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or front-line reception role.High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).Knowledge of EFTPOS processing and database management systems.Current First Aid certification or the ability to obtain one.Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently.Impeccable personal presentation and a professional manner in all interactions.Experience in a school environment.What We Offer:A welcoming and inclusive work environment.Opportunities for professional development.The chance to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of students and the school community.How to Apply:Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for this role to Anouk Harding, HR Manager at (email protected)Application Deadline: 5:00pm, Friday 8 November 2024St Michael's Collegiate School is committed to child safety and requires all staff to comply with mandatory reporting requirements.
