Are you passionate about fostering compliance, championing risk management, and driving operational integrity? WARRRL (WA Return Recycle Renew Ltd) is seeking a dynamic Scheme Integrity Manager to lead and innovate within our Scheme Integrity team. Join us in making a real difference for Western Australia and help shape the future of our Container Deposit Scheme (CDS).
In this newly created role, as our Scheme Integrity Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of WA's CDS by overseeing the network compliance frameworks, risk management, and fraud detection processes.
Reporting to the Head of Assurance and Integrity, some key accountabilities include:
Lead the monitoring and enforcement of compliance across refund points, processing and logistics providers, material recovery facilities, recyclers and other stakeholders.Develop and enhance risk management strategies as they relate to Scheme integrity and compliance matters, including proactive fraud prevention initiatives.Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive integrity and transparency.Allocate, schedule and oversee audits and investigations, ensuring alignment with relevant standards.Provide guidance and mentoring to your direct report (up to four team members), fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.About you You're an experienced professional with a background in compliance, risk management, regulation or a related discipline. You're innovative, solutions-focused, and thrive on making impactful decisions that uphold integrity.
Key to your success will be:
Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or auditing, ideally within a regulated environment.Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging external partners, auditors, and investigators.Strong leadership skills with a history of guiding and motivating teams.Familiarity with compliance or regulatory frameworks, fraud detection processes, and operational performance auditing.Exceptional ability to build relationships and influence diverse groups, including industry, and community stakeholders.Values alignment: A commitment to sustainability, accountability, transparency and integrity.WARRRL is strongly committed to fostering a workplace culture that is safe and accessible for all.
