Position Title:                          Scheduling/Rostering Officer Employment Status:               Full Time Reports to:                               Wellness Manager
Position Purpose: 
To enhance the quality of resident management, resident enjoyment, maximise satisfaction, safety and promote cost effectiveness both for the resident and Odyssey Lifestyle Care Communities. The Wellness Administration role plays a big part in the resident care cycle. The Odyssey Health Group vision is to pioneer with excellence and passion home care communities, where the elderly can live with dignity, certainty, and independence in the familiarity of their own home, whilst having all their care and lifestyle needs provided for in the most efficient, effective, fulfilling, and sustainable way possible. Key Responsibilities: Professionally manage rosters for the Odyssey Care Team, ensuring staffing aligns with contracted hours and the Aged Care Award.Coordinate care team leave in consultation with the Wellness Manager, maintaining staffing levels per policy.Serve as the point of contact for shift replacements during business hours (M-F, ******** hrs).Ensure all timesheets are accurately signed off and staff are paid correctly.Assist with recruitment administration and onboarding of Personal Carers.Schedule and validate all services daily, ensuring all tasks are completed by the end of the week.Manage private service requests, ensuring timely scheduling or cancellations.Maintain accurate service records and ensure billing data is captured and processed on time.Foster effective working relationships with residents, families, and service providers.Ensure compliance with mandatory staff training and Odyssey Group's Quality Management System.Support the financial team with billing requirements, including travel and additional charges.Provide regular reports and assist the Executive Team with additional duties as required.Key Requirements:
2 years' experience in a Rostering and or scheduling role or similar.Strong written and administration skillsA strong understanding of Home Care Proven customer-centric philosophy combined with an ability to "get things done".Demonstrated planning and budgeting experience.Sound competence with computers, specifically MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and eCase.Valid working rights.Prior to appointment a satisfactory police check will be required. Current First Aid/CPR certificate Influenza Vaccinated or willingness to obtain if required

Key Skills / Experience:Experience working with and communicating with a multi-disciplinary team.Demonstrated understanding and sound knowledge of resident centered home care-based care service delivery.Demonstrated advanced level of customer service, problem solving and budgeting.Sound knowledge of the effective use of digital technology and devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops and desk top PC's.Experience in home care and flexible home care or a health service.Demonstrated experience in delegating work within a structured environment.Ability to understand and react responsively to resident centered care.Sound written and oral communication skills – fluent in both written and spoken English.
