Our North Queensland office is under new management and requires a dedicated Scheduling Officer to join a team of professionals in delivering the highest possible quality of client care in the region.
Role Overview The role suits a highly organised person with a cheerful manner and who has a genuine compassion for the elderly and individuals with disability. 
In this role, you will be mainly responsible for:
Scheduling, planning and organising care staff workloads to meet both client and business needs; Review, refine and improve rosters whilst maintaining budgets; Minimise overtime and unnecessary travel and non-productive staff time; Maintain consistency of services to clients in terms of service time and care staff; Roster day-to-day urgent situations as they arise promptly; Resolve issues and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment to meet client/business needs; and Working within tight deadlines. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in roster coordination of 1-2 years; and Current National Police Clearance. Preferred Skills Ability to problem solve, work within deadlines and think outside the box; Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy; Proficient IT capabilities and the ability to quickly pick up new systems; Subscribe to a culture of teamwork, caring and quality service; and Excellent communication abilities, professionalism, a good reputation & respect for our staff, clients and their families.
