As a Scheduling Officer at Freedom Home Care, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our aged and disability support services in the Launceston area. This full-time position is responsible for coordinating the schedules of our care workers, matching their availability and skills to the needs of our clients. You will be a key contributor to the overall success of our operations and the satisfaction of both our clients and care team.
This role will be suited to an individual who resides in Launceston or surrounding areas as you will be working along our team in our Launceston based office.
What you'll be doing Manage the daily scheduling of care workers, allocating them to client appointments based on availability, skillset and client needs Liaise with clients and care workers to understand scheduling requirements and preferences Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of schedules, appointments and client information Assist with the onboarding and training of new care workers Provide administrative support to the operations team as required Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes and efficiency What we're looking for Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and care workers Proficient in using scheduling and client management software Experience in a similar scheduling or coordination role, ideally in the aged care or disability support sector Compassionate and customer-focused approach to service delivery Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands What we offer At Freedom Home Care, we are committed to providing a supportive and fulfilling work environment for our employees.
