Role Overview Our Far North Queensland office continues to grow and we are looking for a dedicated Scheduling Officer to a team of professionals in delivering the highest possible quality of client care. 
The role suits a highly organised person with a cheerful manner and who has a genuine compassion for the elderly and individuals with disability. 
In this role, you will be mainly responsible for:
Scheduling, planning and organising care staff workloads to meet both client and business needs;Review, refine and improve rosters whilst maintaining budgets;Minimise overtime and unnecessary travel and non-productive staff time;Maintain consistency of services to clients in terms of service time and care staff;Roster day-to-day urgent situations as they arise promptly;Resolve issues and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment to meet client/business needs; andWorking within tight deadlines.Rewarding work opportunities - making a difference in your local community;Friendly and supportive workplace;Employee rewards retail discount program;Competitive remuneration; andCareer advancement opportunities will arise as the office expands - this is a unique career opportunity to grow with one of the largest home care companies in the world.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in roster coordination of 1-2 years; andCurrent National Police ClearancePreferred SkillsAbility to problem solve, work within deadlines and think outside the box;Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy;Proficient IT capabilities and the ability to quickly pick up new systems;Subscribe to a culture of teamwork, caring and quality service; andExcellent communication abilities, professionalism, a good reputation & respect for our staff, clients and their families.Please note that we review applications and extend offers on a rolling basis, which means we may fill all available spaces for some divisions and locations prior to the application deadline.
