National Workplace Safety Services has an opportunity for an experienced Scheduling/Booking Officer to assist in the scheduling and coordination of our Service Technicians around the country.
Joining our team based in our Head Offices in Kent Town, the ideal candidate will assist in scheduling our Service Technicians, effective matching the skills and availability of our workforce to the needs and requirements of each service job.

Responsibilities of the Position: Deliver excellent customer service to clients in regard to site specific expectations and the time management of jobsCommunicating with technicians regarding their service job requirementsCalling clients to confirm services booked and reflecting this in the field services systemCreate, implement and update client Preventative Maintenance plans to ensure accurate and timely servicingProactively, and professionally liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support customer changes and additions to their current service schedulesProactively supporting Scheduling Technicians to achieve the organisational objectives, goals and outcomesEnsure Service Technician's Certification, Clearances and inductions are up to dateGeneral administration tasks as requiredAbout you: To be successful in this role, you will have or be able to demonstrate the following:
A current National Police Clearance (or the ability to apply for one)Experienced in scheduling, organising and monitoring a field-based workforce.Time management skills with the ability to work under pressureDemonstrated ability to use initiative and judgement to prioritise and coordinate work tasks under general direction, whilst dealing with a range of task simultaneouslyProven skills to operate and contribute effectively as a member of a team and maintain confidentiality and use discretion and tactWell-developed written and verbal communication skills, including objection handling skillsExperience in providing an accurate and timely range of general administrative support servicesAbility to effectively relate to a large range of internal and external stakeholdersWe are looking for someone with an engaging, friendly personality and a professional phone manner. This role would suit a flexible and responsible individual who has a willingness to learn and has a strong focus on providing quality customer service. You will be a problem solver who has a 'can do' attitude.
Standard Work Hours are Mon – Fri 8:30am – 4:30pm.
