Be the Heartbeat of our service delivery operations: The Role
As our Scheduling Assistant , you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of support services that enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities. This isn't just an administrative role; it's an opportunity to contribute to a team that makes a tangible difference every day. In this full-time, office-based role, you'll be working Monday to Friday , collaborating with a dedicated team to organise effective scheduling, manage maintenance requests, and ensure the accuracy of records critical to our operations.
Your Key Responsibilities: Efficient Scheduling: Maintain Supported Independent Living (SIL) and community rosters, manage shift replacements, and ensure minimal disruption to clients. Accurate Documentation: Keep scheduling records up to date in the electronic rostering system, ensuring compliance with industrial obligations. Team Collaboration: Work closely with support staff, Client Liaison Officers, Managers and other office staff, responding to their rostering queries and providing essential information. Property Management: Oversee and manage maintenance requests for SIL properties, ensuring they're well-maintained and in good working order. Customer Service: Occasionally cover office reception, offering friendly and professional service to visitors and callers. Provide exceptional service to clients and staff as part of our commitment to offer a quality and seamless experience. After-Hours Support: Provide on-call support as part of a scheduled roster to ensure smooth service delivery. What You'll Bring to the Role: Problem-Solving Skills: You're quick to identify issues and find effective solutions, with keen attention to detail. Relationship Building: Your strong interpersonal skills help you build trust and collaborate effectively at all levels. Communication & Negotiation: You're confident in your ability to communicate clearly, manage conflicts, and negotiate with various stakeholders. Organisational Mastery: Juggling multiple tasks is second nature to you, and you excel in managing your time within tight deadlines. The juggling world of rosters excites you! Technical Proficiency: You're comfortable with Word, Excel, Outlook, and you can quickly adapt to new systems and technologies. Qualifications & Experience: A minimum of 2 years demonstrated strong administrative experience (essential). Experience in managing 24-hour, 7-day rosters (advantageous). Experience or interest in property maintenance or management. Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply). Knowledge of the NDIS and Disability Support industry (desired but not essential).
