Main tasks and responsibilities: The scheduling function in VIVA Mutual is to support our self-managed teams to be responsible for key processes, including ensuring efficient allocation of staffing resources according to Award conditions to support clients to receive the best possible quality of supports.
Supporting self managed teams in schedulingAct as central point of support for any scheduling matters Champion the matching of clients to best available worker and create scheduling data Provide expert support to staff in the use of Visual CareRole and Responsibilities Support VIVA Self-Managed Teams (SMTs) to efficiently operate by the quality matching of workers with clientsEnsure consistent service delivery to clients accessing VIVA Mutual Champion the use of Visual Care across the organization Ensure all client and worker rosters are maintained – i.e. it is current and accurate Communicate effectively with self managed teams and clients, through both direct written and verbal contact Our Ideal Candidate would have: Experience as a scheduler in the NDIS or Aged Care sectorAbility to work as a part of a teamContribute to Staff consultation and communication when rosters change.Contribute to Customer consultation and communication when rosters change.Contribute to continuous improvement - review, development, and implementation of improvements to rostering processes.Ensure schedule compliance with industrial instrument and WHS legislation.Ability to build new rosters inclusive of Supported Independent Living site rosters. Identify and propose innovative solutions to achieve improvements in scheduling related mattersExcellent customer service skillsBuild and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.Respect of others' dignity and choicesKnowledge of NDIS Practice StandardsKnowledge of company policies and procedures (Training will be given)Work as a part of an On-Call Rotation including Evenings and WeekendsA driving license and access to a carPermission to work in AustraliaQualifications & experience NDIS Scheduler (Rostering Officer) experience of at least 2 years (Essential)Experience with Visual Care (highly regarded)Why should you work with us?
