Our client, a global energy transition company, is looking for aPlanner/Scheduler to work on a 6+ months contract inRedcliffe, Perth. Main Responsibilities: Develop and maintain schedules utilizing MS Project or P6, ensuring alignment with project objectives and milestones. Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and vendors to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for delivery programs. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to anticipate and address potential project delays or challenges. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for project implementation. Monitor project progress against established milestones and identify deviations from the plan, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, risks, and areas for improvement. Support project managers in the identification and resolution of issues related to project scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management. Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvement. Main requirements: Proven experience as a scheduler/planner, preferably in large-scale, complex projects. Proficiency in MS Project or P6 is essential; experience with other scheduling tools is a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
