We're here to support you every step of the way, with opportunities that keep you moving forward in line with our vision.Key responsibilities: Plan and schedule transport activities to ensure efficient operations.Achieve 95% DIFOT targets and optimise driver and vehicle usage.Meet customer transport requirements and resolve any issues promptly with minimal operational impact.Schedule based on truck and driver capabilities; collaborate with the workshop to optimise vehicle availability.Ensure accurate documentation and timely entry of data into management systems.Ensure scheduling meets all safety and compliance requirements, maintaining 100% adherence.Identify and contribute to improvements and new opportunities for enhancing transport operations.This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday.About youTo be successful in this role you will have the following:
Skills and experience: 3+ years' experience in a transport operations role (preferred).Proficient in Transportation Management Software.Strong skills in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail).Exceptional communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.Effective planning, organisation, and time management skills.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy.Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.Self-motivated, reliable, and thrive under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.Capable of working autonomously or within a team, with a strong work ethic.Punctual, professional, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.Adaptable to changing demands and challenging circumstances.Supporting a Diverse WorkforceLaw Transport is committed to providing an inclusive and diverse work environment where everyone is included, treated fairly and with respect.
