Belong at Home (CHC) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and solutions-focused person to join our team.
Belong at Home is a highly respected not-for-profit local organisation, providing a range of services to older people and their carers throughout the South West of WA, with offices in Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, Collie, Donnybrook and Bridgetown.
This role is based at our Donnybrook site.
As a key member of the Donnybrook team, you will have excellent communication skills, an empathetic attitude and understanding of older people and be solution focused.
This role includes a combination of scheduling and administrative tasks where multi-tasking is essential for this small service team.
As a part-time role, it is essential that the successful candidate is available Monday to Friday ( 6 hours per day) to ensure the needs of the community are met.
The hours must be consistent so that our clients can be assured that the office will be attended during business hours.
Role & Responsibilities Scheduling Timely, accurate and compliant scheduling of services for Transport & Meals on Wheels with support for daily cancellations/changes of services where required.Support of staff and volunteers, to ensure service delivery is high quality, safe and dependableRepresent Belong at Home positively and professionally at all times;Contribute to team meetings and continuous improvement ideas and initiatives;Allocate vehicles to both volunteers & staff if relevant to service.Administrative Confidential and secure client file management as per Belong at Home policyFollow up, accept and process client paymentsReconcile petty cashRegular communication to stakeholders by phone, one on one or writtenPrompt escalation of client concerns and/or complaints and follow up of actions under the delegation of the Site ManagersYour Skills & Experience Experience in Scheduling position or similar is desirableProficiency in using internal client management software and Microsoft Office Suite programsDemonstrated ability or desire to motivate and develop staff and volunteersProven administration experience and data entry backgroundUnderstanding of OH&S in the workplaceUnderstanding of issues relating to seniorsExceptional attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent time management skillsBenefits Work for a well-respected not-for-profit aged care provider, dedicated to supporting older people to stay living in their homes and communityBe part of a dynamic and passionate team of professionalsWork and live in the beautiful South West of WAAccess to NFP salary packaging arrangementsA valid police clearance, COVID currency, Flu vaccinations and Drivers Licence is essential.
