We are looking for a motivated, safety conscious Scheduler Logistics to join our team within Integrated Scheduling & Planning.
This role is a great opportunity to demonstrate your ability to engage, connect and positively influence at all organizational levels, which will play a critical part to the effectiveness in this role.
You will be reporting to the Superintendent Scheduling – Outload and work in a challenging and exciting environment within the Operations Centre Control Room: Main Responsibilities: Utilize tools for dynamic decision-making and value trade-offs.
Collaborate across a broad stakeholder group on system deviations and improvement opportunities.
Balance supply and demand, optimizing the ship queue.
Track and update the 0-4 week ship queue, aligning with forecasts.
Manage requests from Sales Scheduling and plan ship loading sequences.
Conduct ad hoc shipping and scheduling analyses.
Analyze shipped volume and grade opportunities, providing recommendations.
Participate in strategic meetings and prepare relevant presentations.
Prepare the Outload Schedule for the following week.
Refine and optimize the Weekly Schedule.
Seek improvements in scheduling processes and update documents.
Provide SME input for projects.
About You: Knowledge of iron ore supply chain, scheduling, port operations, or Shipping.
Ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills.
Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Curious and continuous improvement mindset – driven to find better ways.
Proven ability to take initiative and proactively address tasks.
Beneficial qualifications: Tertiary qualification in STEM, Commerce, Supply Chain, Maritime & Logistics, Sales & Marketing, or similar.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
Experience with data analytics packages (, Power BI).
Knowledge of shipping, customer requirements, and contracts.

Where you'll be working Our integrated iron ore network is supported by our Operations Centre (OC) in Perth, a state-of-the-art facility that enables all the autonomous trucks, trains and drills at our mines, ports and rail systems to be operated from a single location.
The Centre incorporates visualisation and collaboration tools to provide real-time information across our demand chain and allows us to optimise our mining, maintenance and logistic activities across the Pilbara in a way never before possible.
Located near the Perth domestic airport, the OC operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to coordinate our integrated network of mines, rail, and ports from 1,500km away.
