We're looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our service delivery operations, creating and managing schedules that keep our projects on track and on time.
As a Scheduler , you'll be responsible for everything from developing and executing detailed program plans to managing individual Ship Maintenance Availability schedules.
You'll take the lead on crucial planning activities, including the Target Budget Estimate (TBE) process and integrated maintenance programs for our supported products.
Tracking progress against Contract Deliverables (CDRLs) will be second nature to you, ensuring all stakeholders stay informed and aligned.
In this role, you'll work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders, honing your negotiation and relationship management skills while ensuring the seamless coordination of schedules.

WHO WE ARE Norsta North, located in Darwin - is a wholly owned subsidiary of NORSTA Maritime Pty Ltd, an Australian company.
NORSTA operates in North-Eastern Australia and Northern Australia as the Royal Australian Navy's Regional Maintenance Provider (RMP).

click on this link to learn more about us - https://norsta.com.au/ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and prepare service delivery schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines, while refining tools and methodologies for efficiency.
Oversee scheduling activities, driving continuous improvements for better workflow and resource allocation.
Deliver schedules under the RMP-N Contract in accordance with the Support System Functional Model.
Work closely with stakeholders to develop, monitor, and adjust schedules for timely deliverables.
Provide regular updates on milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays to keep projects on track.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Must be able to obtain (and hold) Baseline Defence security clearance, which requires being an Australian Citizen.
Proven Scheduling Expertise: Demonstrated experience in scheduling within Defence or commercial environments, with a strong ability to refine and optimise scheduling methodologies using Microsoft Project and other tools.
Project Management & Stakeholder Collaboration: Strong skills in managing scheduling activities and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders, supported by excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical & Reporting Skills: High level of attention to detail and analytical abilities, with proven expertise in tracking schedules, milestones, and risks, as well as producing comprehensive reports and presentations.
Commitment to Safety & Standards: Demonstrated leadership through adherence to safety, quality, and personal behaviour standards, with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving in scheduling processes.
QUALIFICATIONS Tertiary qualification in planning / scheduling, or minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role Certifications in Microsoft Project / Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Certification (or willingness to obtain) NOTE: Willingness to undertake a National Police Check.
